The Big Day!

Nathan and I got married for time and all eternity on June 20, 2009 in the Seattle Temple. It was the most absolutely perfect, non stressful day ever. The day began with Colleen our wonderful Mary Kay lady coming over and helping with putting on make-up, eating breakfast, and waiting for Nathan to come and pick me up to get my hair done. We changed hairstylists at the last minute because the Monday before we got married I went to get my hair color blended and she died my hair orange! I seriously looked like carrot top from the T-Mobile commercials. Thankfully Jenny at Jenny's Place was able to save my hair. Luckily the hairstylist who did my up do did it so perfectly. It was exactly the I wanted.

We made it to the temple early which was super nice so that we weren't rushing to get things done. It was so nice to get ready in the bride's room with my mom, and then spend the time before we got married with Nathan. It is such a wonderful thought that I was marrying my best friend and that he is mine for eternity.

The day was absolutely wonderful. It was almost as though there was no one else there with us. My friend Jackie Morrell owner of Smile Catcher did our pictures and did such a wonderful job. They are all so beautiful. After pictures we were able to go to a wonderful luncheon. The food was so good, thank you to Aunt Kathy for playing a beautiful rendition of the song Always, and Thank you to Char and Kelly for making all of the beautiful and tasty cupcakes. Everything was absolutely perfect.

We headed off on our honeymoon where we stayed the night in Port Orchard, and then took the foot ferry to... Victoria BC! The next post we will share some of the fun activities we were able to enjoy while we were there.

Here are a few glimpses of our beautiful day:
